ORBIS, a humanitarian organization committed to preserving and
restoring sight in the developing world through training of eye care
personnel and strengthening the capacity of in-country eye care
institutions and services, invites passionate and energetic
individuals to apply for the following position:

Development Executive Post Date: 17 May 09

The incumbent will be responsible for the recruitment and
implementation of Pin Campaign with the goal of maximizing support
from companies and their staff, building awareness and fundraising
within kindergartens, assisting in volunteer solicitation, preparation
of other donor communication materials and events within the team.

Key responsibilities:

Promote and encourage previously participating and new corporations to
join Pin Campaign through telephone calls.
Assist in and follow up the logistic arrangement for Pin Campaign.
Prepare regular call report for Pin Campaign.
Build up awareness and raise fund within kindergartens.
Assist in implementing volunteer solicitation for fundraising events.
Assist in the preparation of other communication materials within the team.
Assist in other fundraising events within the team.

Requirements:

Tertiary or university graduate
1-3 years of work experience in marketing
Cheerful and committed
Like to communicate with people
Good presentation skills and telephone manner
Able to work with limited resources
Flexible and willing to learn
Fluent in spoken Chinese and English
Computer knowledge E.g.: MS Word, Excel, Internet
