Facility Manager

Responsibilities:
- Manages a team of facilities personnel and maintenance contractors
to achieve business results in terms of cost, site delivery,
timeliness and quality.
- Build a strong working relationship with client to resolve conflicts
and achieve Win/Win results & able to satisfy clients that require
extraordinarily high service levels.
- Supervise, mentor and train staff.
- Responsible for maintenance, vendor management and contract
administration covering services related to facilities management.
- Reduce, manage, analyze and report Operating expense. Assist
Management with the preparation of annual budgets and full year
projections.
- Build a strong working relationship with the building landlord and
building services staff to ensure proper integrity of services
provided.
- Responsible for the efficient operation of the facilities service
desk/helpdesk through the facilities management team.
- Incorporate an owner's mentality, responsible for managing all
aspects of the facilities, including facilities support services,
quality assurance of the building and general support services,
overall budget administration.
- Establish performance criteria and parameters for vendors and
service providers. In conjunction with procurement, initiates leverage
on vendor contracts, service agreements and volume of procurement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years directly related experience in a facility management.
- Experience in planning and maintenance program methodology covering
equipment such as but not limited to UPS, Air-conditioning, lighting,
power generators, etc.
- Experience in facilities operating budget preparations.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship management, and consultation
skills required.
- Must possess leadership skills, have experience in supervisory and
administrative role.
- Technical/engineering scholastic background is an advantage but NOT
a must. Property Management, Facility Management or Facilities project
management qualifications would be preferred.
- Must be well-organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and exhibit a superior customer
service attitude.
- Superior oral and written communication skills required- both
Mandarin and English.
- Software competency: Microsoft Office.
- Practical knowledge in procurement, contract administration,
regulatory/governmental codes and regulations.
